Introduction

HIDIMATIL ISLAMIYYA is a prominent private Islamic model institution located in the Southern region of Taraba State, Nigeria. The school operates as a co-educational (mixed) learning center dedicated to providing integrated formal and Islamic education to children within the Wukari Local Government Area and its surrounding communities. The school is a training ground for participants who participate in the Musabaqah (Quranic competitions) and has produced many memorizers of the Holy Quran.

Foundation

The school was first established with only a primary section with a total number of 30 boys and 30 girls. The primary section was followed by a secondary section, and later the Nursery section was introduced. The school has a strong focus on Quranic memorization and Islamic studies.

Vision

The establishment of HIDIMATIL ISLAMIYYA aimed to address the critical need for standard Islamic scholarship combined with modern sciences in Taraba State, directly countering educational gaps in the region.

Physical Address: Hussaini Idris Masjid Premises, Wukari, Taraba State, Nigeria

The school is situated within the Hussaini Idris Masjid complex, making it a center for both worship and learning.

The institution provides comprehensive education across Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary, and Senior Secondary sections with a strong emphasis on Islamic studies and Quranic memorization.

Achievements

• Ikrimah Isa Ibrahim participated in Musabaqah around the world and took position 3rd in the year 1999
• Aliyu Muhammad Abubakar won national Cowbell Mathematics Competition in the year 2004
• The school came position 1st in quiz competition held at Atoshi Recreation Centre Wukari
• Many students memorized complete Quran and participated in Quranic competitions at local, state, national, and international levels
• Students have won prizes at various Quranic competitions across Nigeria
